Definition
YouTube's monetization program that allows eligible creators to earn revenue from advertisements displayed on their videos. To qualify, creators must have at least 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in the past 12 months (or 1,000 subscribers and 10 million Shorts views). The YouTube Partner Program is the primary gateway to ad revenue for YouTube creators and also provides access to channel memberships, Super Chat, and merchandise shelf features.
