Definition

An adaptation of the Japanese IKIGAI philosophy applied to creator business strategy by Roberto Blake. The traditional IKIGAI framework identifies the intersection of what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for as the source of life purpose. Roberto Blake's creator-specific adaptation maps these four quadrants to content strategy: what you are passionate about creating, what you have genuine expertise in, what your audience actively needs and searches for, and what the market will pay for. The overlap of all four quadrants defines a creator's sustainable niche — one that produces content with both intrinsic motivation and commercial viability.
