Definition
A Statement of Work (SOW) is a formal document in a contract or agreement that defines the specific tasks, deliverables, timeline, and standards for a project. In creator-brand partnerships, the SOW is the legally binding description of what the creator will produce, when it will be delivered, and what constitutes successful completion. A detailed SOW protects both parties from scope creep and disputes.
