Also known as:Expense ReimbursementCost Recovery

Definition

A reimbursement fee is a payment made to a creator or contractor to cover out-of-pocket expenses incurred during the execution of a project — such as props, equipment rentals, software subscriptions, or travel costs. Reimbursements are distinct from the creative fee and should be documented with receipts and itemized in the contract or invoice.
