Definition
A COB (Chip-on-Board) light is a high-intensity LED lighting fixture where multiple LED chips are packed closely together on a single substrate, producing a powerful, focused beam of light. COB lights are used in video production as key lights or for dramatic, high-contrast lighting effects. They are known for their high output, efficiency, and ability to mimic the look of traditional tungsten or HMI lights.
