Definition

An accent light is a secondary light source used in video production to add depth, visual interest, or separation to a scene. Unlike key or fill lights, accent lights are used to highlight specific elements such as a background, a product, or the subject hair (often called a hair light or rim light). They contribute to a polished, three-dimensional look in creator videos.
