Sponsored Content Policy

Also known as:Sponsorship GuidelinesPartnership Policy

Definition

A creator's documented guidelines for how they evaluate, accept, and disclose brand partnerships — including the types of brands they will and will not work with, their disclosure practices, and their creative standards for sponsored content. Having a clear sponsorship policy protects the creator's credibility, sets expectations with potential brand partners, and ensures compliance with FTC guidelines. A well-defined policy also helps creators decline misaligned opportunities gracefully and efficiently.
