Notification Bell

The bell icon on YouTube that subscribers can click to receive notifications when a creator uploads new content. There are three notification settings: all notifications, personalized notifications (selected by YouTube's algorithm), and none. Most subscribers default to personalized notifications, meaning YouTube decides which of your videos to notify them about based on their engagement history. Creators should not assume that all subscribers see every video — notification reach is typically a small fraction of total subscriber count.
