Hyperlapse

Also known as:Moving Time Lapse

Definition

A hyperlapse is a time lapse technique in which the camera moves through space during the recording, creating a dynamic, flowing accelerated sequence. Unlike a stationary time lapse, a hyperlapse involves physically moving the camera between frames — either by hand, on a motorized slider, or using stabilization software. Hyperlapses are popular in travel content, architecture videos, and cinematic b-roll.
