Definition
In the creator economy, distribution refers to the channels, platforms, and methods through which a creator's content reaches their audience. Effective distribution strategy determines how widely content spreads, which platforms it appears on, and how it is repurposed across different formats. Owning your distribution — through an email list, podcast RSS feed, or website — is considered the most resilient strategy because it is not subject to platform algorithm changes.
