Curation

Also known as:Editorial CurationContent Curation

Definition

The editorial act of selecting, organizing, and presenting content — whether original or third-party — in a way that adds value through context, perspective, or organization. In the creator economy, curation is a legitimate and powerful content strategy when the curator adds genuine editorial insight rather than simply aggregating existing material. Newsletter curation, playlist curation, and resource roundups are all forms of curation that can build significant audience trust and authority.
