Definition
Brand advocacy is the practice of loyal customers, fans, or partners actively promoting a brand through word-of-mouth, social sharing, and genuine endorsement — without necessarily being paid. In the creator economy, brand advocates are distinct from paid brand ambassadors; they promote because of authentic belief in the product. Brands cultivate advocacy through exceptional products, community building, and creator partnership programs.
